Universal Media, Inc. served as the Presenting Sponsor for The Salvation Army’s Celebration of Potential ceremony honoring Micah Parsons on Thursday, April 28 at the Hershey Lodge.
NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, Dallas Cowboys Linebacker, PSU Football alum, and, most importantly, Harrisburg native, Parsons, accepted the Celebration of Potential Award in front of friends, family, and fellow Salvation Army supporters.
The award recognized his remarkable influence, accomplishments, and impact on the community.
President and CEO of Universal Media Anne Carnathan provided the opening remarks.
“A common thread among Micah, the Salvation Army, and all of us here tonight, is our connection to our community, and our desire to support those in need,” she stated.
Noting, “Potential is an infinite resource that deserves to be celebrated with a loud voice and a strong conviction. Within all of us, there is an untapped possibility of brilliance, and in order to see it realized, we need the right people and support systems around us.”
